NEW Computer Maybe?

RE: NEW Computer Maybe?
Here are some important facts to note.
1. Microsoft will continue to bring out new versions which means that they will stop supporting older versions as they have done with W98 and doubtless, before long, with XP.
2. The new versions will all have upgrades and extra security features
which really chew up online time for those who are not on Broadband
3. Hard drives are now huge and their price is dropping. Unless you are into stealing movies they have far more capacity than we can ever use. This means that there is plenty of space for Partitions which can hold proven, trusted products like XP (and even W98) to be loaded with existing folder files and games and used the same way as we are used to. This means that we can keep using proven programs while learning how to use the main partition for the new drivers, upgrades, extra security and communication tricks etc.

I am very happy playing Matrix JTCS on my reliable XP partition while my huge number of Talonsoft games and other old programs are available on my W98 partition. I prefer this to struggling to learn Vista which has a lot of stuff I do not need or use
