Yeah.. Sturmoviks were called 'Iron Ivans' for good reason.. German Pilots had a bugger of a time bringing them down.. the entire fuselage and wing center sections were covered in armor plate.. only reliable way to bring one down was to clobber the oil cooler that hung under the fuselage.. try that when they would fly down in the weeds..

anyway.. in game turns.. I have played against plenty of Stumovic's and it seems that anything less than a 40mm gun has little chance of actually bringing one down.. when I have them, i'll turn off the heavy ordinance a for a couple of sorties so they can get the picture over the battle.. then given the correct opportunity turn on all the guns and send over the whole bunch..
