RE: SPWW2 opponent wanted
Oldrocky contacted me and we already played a game. It was some kind of test game cause any of us know exactly what kind of troops is effective in this kind of battle.

We are playing on map 224 Herleville, France cause there is lot of fields to land, lot of roads to move quickly your troops, lot of places for ambushes and lot of little towns and crossroads for VH.

They are some special rules:

-Every turn each player can use 5 planes/gliders for Allied and 7 gliders/planes for Axis ( cause globally axis planes and glidders can load less units).

- During first turn you have to drop your HQ and/or a FO. He will be able to decide where are landing next units.

Our battle look like this from my side.

1 turn: 5 hamilcar gliders with 2 commando Trp + HQ + FO + 2 infantry AAMG. The HQ called spotter planes and decided where will land next waves

turn 8: 5 hamilcars, 4 with 1 USA Inf Co (Vet) and 1 with 3 82mm mortars and 1 inf AAMG
turn 9: airdrop of HQ+ 2 platoons of a UK paratroopers company
turn 10: 4 hamilcars with 2 LRDG patrols and 1 with 3 82mm mortars

some of the gliders crashed, some of paratroopers died during the jump but globally all was OK. in turn 12 my spotter plane have see german troops around my LZ of turn 14... i had to cancel the air drop.

This kind of battle need a long preparation but it's very funny. The real battle start around turn 10 when the next waves income but it's very tactical. You must think way ahead in this battle... secure LZ before incoming of next waves etc...

I'm still searching for opponents. This battle will be to hard for a beginner player i think, but an intermediate or advanced player will have lot of fun. Specially if he like paradrops

No problem Walrus, it will be a pleasure to play with you. I will contact you after the 15th july

PS: Same kind of battle for SPMBT is also possible
