For one thing - when a nuke strike happens a disctinctsound plays I am pretty sure.

Quote:I was playing as WP in AFNorth in Danube Front 85' (solitaire) and sometimes I see "Radiation" marked on a hex. I haven't used nukes before in the game, so it would seem to be the AI who using them.

If it was a Stock scn - NATO can't us Nuke Weapons until the WP uses WMD first. If your playing a scn you downloaded then anything goes.

Quote:1. How do you know when it is possible to use nuclear weapons?

It's defined in the PDT

Quote:Which types of units is capable of firing tactical nukes? WP mostly?

Right click on the unit Window and it will say IF/WMD

See the Scn #03 WMD Demonstration

Quote:Another question, what is the difference between ordinary bridges and pontoon bridges? do they have different advantages/disadvantages?

Have look at the documentation and if something isn't clear post again and refer to a game, Scn and a hex IDs (bridges) your refering to and I am sure someone will help you out. But generally a bridge is a bridge - you get over a minor river fast than fording and you need a brdige to get over a river.
