Hi Bryan,

most important for LI in HPS Ancient Warfare is to avoid melees against heavier troops. The appropriate order is "skirmish", this has to be issued after all other orders to a unit.
Means move-move-move-skirmish guarantees the LI avoids enemy contact and evade in case of enemy advance.
