Hi Larry,

I don't know if you can do a search for the thread about this a while back, but opinions are divided on this subject and the discussion did get rather heated. A lot of people thought that there were often valid reasons behind many saves due to time to play, children/pets interferring with keyboards and a myriad of other reasons - perfectly reasonable as all our lives and situations differ. Others, myself included, thought that if this happened on a regular basis then something more nefarious is probably likely. I think everybody has situations where now and again they would need to save a turn more often than usual, but when I play, I usually make sure I have enough time to actually play the whole turn through in one go... it doesn't always work out that way - but mostly it does. In my many years of gaming, I have rarely had to save more than twice (the limit reported) and then only on very large scenarios.

Since the matrix edition came out, I have only seen the "more than two saves" notice once, and I've played hundreds of turns against many different opponents.

I think it comes down to how you feel about it, you've been around the game a long time and you know the score. :rolleyes:
