Visited the Armour Museum the other day with my kids. Some of the guys mentioned here were there... Sending their regards to everyone!

German: Stug IIIs ;) and mk IVs

Took a second or two to recognize this guy, in his post-war dark green paint job, for what it was: a PzKpfw IV J. A fragile looking chassis... But you'd not want to look at the long PaK/40 from the wrong side of the gun sights I am sure.

Here's an early model StuG III Ausf. G in its war-era camouflage matching nicely the late autumn colours of firs, pine trees and sky:

These guys managed to get an astonishing 10-to-1 kill ratio against T34-85s in the forestry bocage that was and is the Carelian Isthmus. Punched in a few IS-2s and ISU152s foor a good measure as well.
