I have no idea why I have not asked this question before :chin:

When you start a game, in that area where you decide upon the options (fog of war, assault, etc.) there is a slide that you can move to favor either the Axis or the Allies.

I always thought this slide applied to contests versus AI, but since it appears when I start a PBEM game, I am wondering if it has any effect Eek

I've never moved this slide and simply left it in the middle.

Does it have an effect in PBEM games and if so, is your opponent notified of the fact that you have moved the slide?
