Modern Campaigns or Panzer Campaigns Opponent WANTED!

Okay, so i'm new here, so new here its amazing. However, i'm not new to wargaming; between board games and computer games, everything from ASL to Panzer Leader/Blitz to 2nd Fleet to Vietnam and in between, i've been wargaming for 30 years since I was a little kid! I'm a bigtime gamer and a history nut. Wargaming only scratches the surface, I also really dig flight sims and shooters and especially race sims, but truly, wargaming is my first love (warm fuzzy feeling inside at the moment)

Okay boys and girls (theres gotta be at least a couple girl wargamers in the world...) enough about me. I'd like to play someone for the first time. Really. Go look at my list of games. I've played em all many times, yet only against the AI! So a couple weeks ago I was perusing the net, lamenting the lack of a decent opponent, when I said to myself, "Self, you need to step it up, you need to man up and play against real people!"

So i'm not the greatest player in the world, nor the worst. I'm a realism nut that just wants someone that is willing to play me and go easy on me :) my newbieness shows...

So if someone doesn't mind playing against someone that is new to PBEM, then by all means please pick a small-medium scenario from one of the games on my list that is fun and fair in HTH and hit me up. I'll play any side, I just want a good fun game. Truthfully, i'd almost rather lose a close, tight, fun game than win a boring blowout!'

BTW this would be my first ever Modern Campaign or Panzer Campaign against a "real" opponent. I just started my first EVER game against a PBEM opponent last week, a Campaign 1776 duel that I am starting to get beat down on :)
