I am finding that with windows 7 I have to delete the existing zip file and then make a new zip file with the current turn. A bit of a nuisance but it works for keeping the most current turn in the file you send.

I always copy the bte file to a clean folder, then compress it, and once sent move it to an archive. But thanks, this might prove I am in the right track in finding out the core of the problem...

My friend has some problems with gaming on 64 bit OS, not JTCS though...
He is going to return to 32.
I am still enjoying my 32 bit XP. Can you believe it? :smoke:
Good luck in solving this problem.

Yes! I can believe it!

No, I have it directly under C:\\Matrix Games\etc etc

maybe the 64 bit version is the reason. I have the 32 bit version of Win 7 professional and use win.rar without problems. I dl the Win XP mode for a virtual PC too but didn´t need it.

Thanks everyone for your ideas and comments! I will try to be even more careful with the bte and zip files, keeping all folders empty of them when copying them in or creating a compressed file.
