RE: Problems with bte/zip files + JTCS and/or Windows 7?
Windows Vista 64 bit OS was a bust with the online gaming community and to put it simply, it was not compatible with games made by Activision such as Call Of Duty United Offensive etc. When installing the game, the game did not recognize the Vista 64 bit OS as a legitimate OS and the game would not install, so many gamers either stuck with XP or Vista 32 bit. This was a MicroSoft problem. Awhile back there was an article in PC Gamer Magazine which stated that Windows 7, 32 or 64 bit OS was the cure all for all gaming problems and it was, at least for me, I was able to install and play any and all games that I played on XP or Vista 32 bit. I also use Gmail, and have not had any problems. The only time I have seen a problem with a turn is when the other person does not actually finish their game turn and sends the battle file in a Zip without actually finishing their game turn. And this will happen when you do not click on the "Advance Turn" button on your bottom tool bar. As far as I know JTCS is compatible with all parts of Windows 7, 32 or 64 bit OS.
