I think that we should not use a lot of our points for chancy air support as the outcome is doubtful and the surviving tanks would still be able to proceed unimpeded.

I think we should buy an inf company and a 105mm howitzer platoon and place it where it can block further progress of that tank column. We should accept the loss of the western road and concentrate on defending the south-western route.

Most importantly, we should not abandon the town centre as we would lose too many victory flags. We stay where we are, redeploy a few of our units and buy a new inf company+howitzers to stop the enemy.

The situation is simply not as critical as to warrant using 8 points on air missions that are going to be there for only one turn. If we buy troops they are there to stay.
