RE: game play
I have many opponents that average one move per day, often more than one.
But, even those run into life or computer issues that can slow a game down.
I usually have 8 games going at once and that almost always means two or three moves per day.
Another idea is to play opponents from different parts of the world. Australia is a good choice if you are in the US because during my evenings it's their morning or early afternoon. I sometimes get moves from my Australian opponents at midnight my time. If you work the time difference, you can be getting moves all day long.
Mike's advice in regard to playing too many games is a good one. When I first joined the Blitz, I overloaded on games and got burned out. I personally took 3 months off and then got back into the games on the basis of what I could reasonable handle.
If I don't have a lot of moves to address in a given day, I just spend more time addressing the ones I do have.
If you are interested Bruce, I can provide you with the names and emails of several potential opponents that move almost daily.
I occasionally get the opponent that's good for a move every 5-7 days on a consistant basis, but if that bothers me, I just don't play them again.
My best,
Pat
Give a man fire and he'll be warm for a day. Light a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
