Jason they are required in every scenario from my point of view.If you dont have the ability to remove wrecks it seems to me each scenario can be exploited whether the creator intended wrecks to be part of the strategy or not.The fact that they can be used to block because there is no removable units available seems to me another way of using a (unit ie truck) to block roads ect...
