On Foot Question

I wouldn't mind seeing motorized units automatically enter on foot status when they deploy. The vulnerable trucks were kept out of the immediate battle area and often were used for other purposes after the infantry was delivered.

Panzergrenadier and mechanized units' vehicle mounted weapons systems (machineguns, mortars and cannon of various sorts) contributed to those units' fighting strength. Trucks were not used that way, except for a few unsuccessful experiments and we have armored cars for that.

As it is, allowing motorized units to deploy without going on foot blurs the distinction between these units and true mechanized units.
