A bit off topic. I mentioned some anomalies that hopefully are fixed in JTCS 1.05. Small things, as these units propably had not been used at all in any scenarios apart from the Winter War 1939-40 scenarios. The low value of Jaeger unit is a bit annoying, it is treated as a regular SMG unit which it was not. However,

There is another anomaly (IMHO), that has to do with StuGs in general.

Just look at the 75mm Pak 40, StuG IIIG and PzKpfw IV H. They all basically had the same gun, but with various calibres of tube.

With JTCS
- Stug IIIG (PaK 40 L/48) has the shortest range, 8
- Pak 40 (L/46) has range of 10, and
- PzKpfw IV H (PaK 40 L/48) is able to fire 12 hexes.

JTCS values for Stug IIIG are obviously using PaK 40 L/43, but I am not sure that is correct. L/43 was used in StuG III Fs?

In my opinion, as StuG III Gs had L/48 calibers, they should have the same range and values as Pzkpfw IV Hs.

EDIT: "Always with an opinion, sometimes right", that's me :) However, I was right:

I had a look at the Unit viewer, and
- the StuG IIIG description explicitly says it is the version with L/48,
- the same the Pzkpfw IV H uses. Actually,
- Pzkpfw IV F2 has PaK40 L/43, and even that has a range of 10 hexes.

Stug III Gs are clearly equipped with wrong values... Affecting pretty much all WF and EF scenarios from 1943 on...
