In the game, the British side has:

1 Battery HQ
1 Infantry Company HQ
3 Infantry Platoon HQs
3 Infantry Squad HQs (one for each platoon)

Example, in scenario 2, All company HQ and first platoon units would be
6 counters.
1 Co HQ
1 1st plt. HQ
1 1st plt. squad HQ
3 1st plt. squad counters.

While in scenario #9, "one complete British company" would be all 16 counters.
