I'm a big fan of 'Total War' series from beginning, that is from Shogun then Medieval, Rome, Medieval II and Napoleonic. For Napoleonic period in Total War, I was waiting since Total War series appeared, but mod for Rome filled this gap a little bit. I hadn't played only Empire Total War. And since march we have Shogun II :)
Having consulted my kids for their preferences, I am in the process of downloading Total War: Rome Gold.
The gaming functionality seems to require quite a learning curve... There seems to be some gaming guidelines available. Since I insist on playing with red uniforms, there is not many families to choose from.
Let us see. Maybe later I will give the Empire a go. Rome was 9,95 € as a digital download, Empire is available for 14.95€
Not quite like breaking the piggy bank, so given I like the gaming interface I will move to 17th century as well. All Hail King Charles XII, King of Sweden and Grand Prince of Finland !!!
