We need either one of the US players to be the overall USMC commander or a 4th person to fill the role; the purpose being that this person will be the decision maker on who gets what support fires/air strikes as well as to direct the battle in general.

The role isn't so much a hands on role, but more of an effort to provide some sort of unity of command and be the final say on support fires, etc.
