I am 100% sure you will find a suitable opponent when offering such a huge choice in titles, my only advice would be to start with a small scenario (say no more than 20 turns) so you can learn the system without getting overwhelmed by huge amounts of units, also stick to the default optional rules until you fully understand the standard rules, after that you can experiment with additional opt rules a bit more.
