RE: Moscow '42 Released
I have a question about casualties/how sustainable offensives are, before I take the plunge and purchase my first PzC title.

Based on two of the Kharkov '43 AAR's, it seems casualties are fairly high (for example: the Axis player lost over 15.000 men in a week with a small number of divisions, the total KIA figure for February 1943 is documented as being 42.000) and destroying entire Soviet divisions through prolonged combat or backhand blows is more rule than exception in some situations. Of course, it's a different game and Panzer divisions are nowhere near as strong in Moscow '42, but the Soviets do need to attack more German infantry divisions, in better positions or in natural defensive terrain, than in Kharkov '43.

I read "Replacement 1%" as being a 1% increase in strength per day when resting, correct me if I'm wrong there, which makes me wonder what kinds of mechanics are in place to make the Soviet winter offensive sustainable in Moscow '42, because casualties seem to be high enough for attacking units of a mediocre to low quality to suffer fairly significant losses in a short amount of time, which is why I'm wondering how the Soviets could sustain a push for at least a month in some sectors.
