Positioning Infantry in Buildings

RE: Positioning Infantry in Buildings
Depending on the situation, it can be most advantageous NOT to have them situated at the edge of a building. If you want to be able to cover the ground nearby outside the building, like for instance against enemy troops crossing the street from a nearby building, you can place your men back from the edge of the building a few meters and they will still have LOS to the open ground but they will be out of LOS to units farther away, like for example the enemy machine gun that was going to give cover for the advancing enemy infantry. Sort of the same thing you can do when your men are in Woods, set them back from the edge a little bit and they are harder to get LOS.

Another thing to be aware of in city fighting ---- two large buildings side by side with no gap in between = your men can't just pass through the wall from one building to the next, they must exit one building into open ground and then enter the other building from the open groud, which can be quite hazardous LOL. In a factory it's no problem to move all through the factory, but large buildings are different.
