Maybe 2.0 problem

Im playing Cold Tunisian Dawn and it looks great, however for the first time I had a lag in some of my moves,,, sound was working the unit was moving then it froze for a few seconds,, then the unit magically appeared at the destination point...
also for the first time my red indicator for the location of the hex my cursor was on freezes up,,, the red outline,, I move and click on another location but its outlined in a light purple color,,, when I click on a unit the unit ID box doesn't light up so you cant tell what the unit is or if its loaded whats it loaded with?
