Newbie: Which PzC game to begin?

My vote would be Smolensk--very fluid and interesting. Have't played Kursk, but have always found the battle rather dull because of the massive fortifications, etc. I have Moscow 41 and 42; I haven't played Moscow 41 yet, but Moscow 42 is OK, although the snowy weather definitely slows the game down.

I recommend that you start with the AI, especially if it is on defense. For the bigger campaigns, you can also play hotseat against yourself, it is surprisingly fun, because given the size of the battles you can't remember all the positions, etc. of the "opposing" forces.
