Sorry. Definitely I misunderstood.
I would ask my opponent if my file was still in their download mail slot (part of e-mail and download). If so they would play the turn I sent. If not I would ask my opponent if it was alright for me to play the turn they sent, even if I had advanced knowledge of the turn.

Your situation was one of the reasons I did not like the idea of an "old" and "older" file included in the upgrade. Too much confusion already?
