UPDATE: BAD NEWS
I just got this email from Al Eisele in Ecuador who runs an ex-pats website there, sadly Dennis (Wardog) died of a heart attack last year.

"Hello Mick,
I'm responding to your inquiry about Dennis. Dennis left Manta, Ecuador to go to Salinas, Ecuador which is 3 hours south of Manta a few years ago. He contracted to go back to work with the energy company for the local Province. But last year around May 2014, Dennis got sick and past away of a heart attack.
Sorry for the bad news.. I knew Dennis when he was here in Manta but lost track of him once he moved to Salinas..
I confirm this with a good friend of his/mine Fred Smith who also works for the energy company here in Manta, Ecuador. Fred & Dennis went way back in their days working together and being friends here in Ecuador.....
