Panzer Battles 2 - The Official Teaser Thread

Ok, we're definitely not going to have anything to talk about going forward...!

As asked on page 5 of this thread here was the teaser screen. All were asked to (initially) have one guess of the 'nationalities' in the correct order as shown here;






Here is the same screen with the unit ID's included;



The correct order was;

1. Luftwaffe
2. Wehrmacht/Heer
3. SS
4. US Army
5. US Airborne
6. Free French
7. Canadian
8. Polish
9. Belgian
10. Dutch
11. British Airborne
12. British Army

No one got it within the terms of the competition... Xaver put a second answer in before the extension AND he sat on the fence regarding Canadians vs Dutch. Davemic got them all but in the wrong order, Outlaw Josey Wales, sent me a private message after his three picks and got the order correctly.

So it's pretty obvious now that we are in Normandy and/or environs - any ideas on the battle(s) covered?
