Sicily 43 - Race for Messina (Strategy)

I too am really fond of this title and Race to Messina as well. The Race scenario was one of the first I PBEM'ed years ago and we played a 3 player game, with me as the Germans. I barely hung on for a win....
I played about 1/3 of the way through the full campaign as the Allies before my opponent had to drop the game. I was in a good position, I think, mostly due to my opponents losses but I had oh so far to go on the map....
