They showed us that film on our Tour coach, and our Tour Guide explained that the battlefield damage hadnt been cleared , and therefore the damaged houses and wrecked tanks were those damaged during the battle.
He also explained that only the Officers got speaking parts !.
My favourite part of the movie: "Sir, a German tank is bothering the wounded"
"Right, (turns to his batman); see to it will you"
"Right sir", grabs a piat, they then show him stalking the tank.
Walks back into CP "All taken care of sir". Goes on making tea.
