The fight against tiger is nonsense. The tiger had been destroyed by fighter-bombers.
The cannon of fury would have also frontal can destroy the Tiger.
A bataillon SS soldiers is too stupid to destroy a Sherman.
The film is reminiscent of the old Soviet war films of 1946-1985.Hordes of humped German egg heads that are too stupid to make.
The movie was really awful bad.Only the original vehicles and tanks were worth a look.

Here you can see it. 267 very negative and 157 good reviews.

I agree with you about the scenario of the film. It is sometimes unrealistic, especially the last battle VS the SS soldiers. this movie shows a pro-US point of vue.
However, the topic is not to discuss about the complete movie but only about this particular scene. this specific scene is very detailed and we can see here things that we have never seen before. By exemple the hole (with fire) on the sherman's superstructure due to the 88mm succeded impact at 1:18

And the scene is not so unrealistic as you said about frontal shot by a sherman

"The M4 Sherman's 75 mm gun would not penetrate the Tiger frontally at any range, and needed to be within 100 m to achieve a side penetration against the 80 mm upper hull superstructure"

cheers.
