Need help with Unit Viewer

Hi, I'm pretty new to the Matrix version of this game and I was wondering if someone could help me with a question I have about the unit viewer. What I want to know is if there is a way to quickly get a unit's stat up, like can I get a selected unit's stats to display at the press of the key like you can with the unit handbook? Currently I'm finding it a bit cumbersome as I have to first open the unit viewer, then select the game, then select the nation, then hunt through a long list of units until I find the one I'm after. Is there any way to streamline this process?
