Yeah, quizzes are open to mods just like everybody else, nothing wrong with that..:)
My only beef is that there are a bunch of guys fighting their guts out in the ladder jungles to get precious ladder points which are as valuable as gold dust, so for ladder points to be awarded to anybody simply for getting quiz questions right doesn't seem right to me.
Getting a question right is fun and rewarding enough in itself without getting points for it..:)
And consider this- I haven't played a ladder game for months because i'm currently involved with flight simming and Arma2, so technically I'm not a Blitz ladder player at the moment yet I'm still able to rack up ladder points for quiz questions, which doesn't seem fair on genuine ladder players and I feel guilty!
For example I'm currently 4th on the Overall CMx2:Modern Battles ladder with 602 points, and the guy above me in 3rd place is currently on 673 points.
Quiz questions score 5 points each, so if I get one correct each week, I'll have scored a total of 75 points over the next 15 weeks and will overtake the guy above me by the end of May if his score stays about the same.
And if I keep getting questions correct for the rest of the year, I'll keep climbing the ladder and probably overtake more guys even though I won't have played any ladder games!
That's why I suggest that NO points should be awarded for quiz questions, as it's simply not fair on genuine ladder players..:)
