It seems there is a simple lack or even unwillingness to communicate from the officials.
From my perspective there won't be any patches for HPS games anymore but if a patch comes for the JTS version you can write Rich and get the JTS version of the game if you prove that you have the HPS version of the game.
At least that is what it looks like, why that isn't communicated is beyond my understanding, I guess only those that show a true interest to find out these facts are worth to get the JTS version.
