airborne losses

Having just the purchased the game (bon) this weekend I've been playing the
tutorial scenerios and managed a draw on Utah one.
However, being really interest in the british airborne i decided to have a go at the east of cean game, but having starting taking control of three bridges I thought I'd check the victory screen and was amazed to see nearly 800 kia, ive read lots of books on the subject and don't know hy the game is hard on the airborne.
is there a method to change the amount of losses something need the historical amount or advice on why this is happening.
