The first one is really easy on the face of it - any scenario can already be played hot seat. It is all in the choices when selecting and starting up with picking a scenario and how. Are you wanting to edit it to make it better for hot seat? Otherwise, just fire up things, no editing needed.

To change the T80, it would be globally (so maybe you want to do this in a copy of the OOB and then edit the scenario itself to use the different oob, required editing the OOB, not the scenario. To do this, open the OOB involved - Germany.oob, in the OOB editor.

Find a unit that uses the T80, and right click, choose edit. In the Org/Unit Dialog that opens, there will be a Thermal Imaging box that is checked. Uncheck it, click on save. Go to the Components menu selection, choose Update Values, then Update Unit Values (you should only have to do one or the other but I am not sure which one), then save the OOB.

This should globally update the T80 to not have Thermal Imaging. You need to do it for each nationality that has the T80, for example Russia and Russia-Guards are separate nationalities. I don't think the other 2 nationalities have T80s but they might?
