Looking for opponents [matchmaking]

RE: Looking for opponents [matchmaking]
Weasel,
I've started a WinSPWW2 game with one of the members. I'll see what sort of a time commitment it becomes over the next few weeks.

I looked at the rules file you referenced. My immediate response is: how do you enforce them? Of course there's the honor system but... Seems like one would have to spend a lot of time reviewing an opponent's move to ferret out some of those rule violations. In the case of the AFV movement rule in a forested area of the map, I could picture the AI move logic violating the rule even though a play didn't intend to violate the rule. A thoughtless more order could result in the AFV moving thru a (AFV movement rule) restricted hex on the way from point A to point B and the player might not even notice.

I understand the quest for realism. But the game creators didn't add code to implement that AFV movement restriction. I wonder why not.
