In EF the resolution is much higher but I have no clue where to change it in WF/RS.
Can someone please give me some input here?

On your keyboard across the top.  Select numbers 1-5 for your resolutions

1 = 3D closest view
2 = 3D mid view
3 = 3D zoomed out
4 = 2D
5 = 2D zoomed out

First of all thanks for the reply.
Ok...maybe my problem has not been described good enough. I play EF sind 1999 and of course know the 1 - 5 view.

If you look at my attached screenshot you'll see that both are in "1 = 3D closest view".
The problem is that the EF-game provides a view with more pixels -> a higher resolution.

Go into your East Front folder and right click on East Front.exe. Click on "Properties", then on "Compatibility" (the second top tab). Is the "Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution" checked? If so, there's your answer. If not, I'm stumped.

OMG! Thank you!!  Actually your assumtion was not exactly correct BUT led me to the solution.

You have to deactivate the scaling for high DPI value. It is the check box right below the one you metioned.

Thanks again....now I'm ready again for desert and jungle warfare
Nice! Glad I could help (a little).  Smile
