Turn 11


Let see the situation :

On the middle I try to hold my position and to encircle the Germain troops.






Now on Beach. As the troops are landed I describe the different battalion.
In fact I like what and where the Battalion are !



Sword Beach


The Sherman Crab and Engineer start to clear mines.
I breakdown my infantry company troops in order to limit stack penalitys.

There is on sword Beach north to south:

-41st RM Cdo (Royal Marine Commando)=> commando
-1st Bn S Lancashire Rgt => infantry
-2sd Bn Middleseix Rgt => MG motorized
-13-18th Hussars Rgt => Sherman V DD
-5 Assault Rgt Royal Eng => Engineers and Churchill AVRE
-5 RM Spt Sq => Sherman IIIA & Centeaur IV
-2st Bn E Yorkshire Rgt => infantry
-6th Commando = >Commando
-1er fusiliers Marins cdo : French commando



Gold Beach


Same situation : I try to clear mines and obstacles. My troops are landing under the germain fire.
I use smoke to help the landing.

The battalion are, west to east :


-1st The Hampshire Regt => Infantry
-1st The Dorsetshire Regt => Infantry
-6th The Green Howards => infantry + 6-pdr MK II
-5th East Yorshire Regt => Infantry + + 6-pdr MK II


and for the armoured :

-Nottinghamshire Yeomanry => Sherman II DD
-6 Assault Regt Royal Eng => engineer and Churchill AVRE
-Westminster Dragoons => Sherman crab.
-4-7th Royal Dragoon Gds => Sherman II DD



Juno Beach


The first wave is coming. I use smoke to protect (a little) the landing troops.

There are composed with Canadian Forces, west to east:


-1st Canadian Scottish Regt
-1st Hussars => Sherman DD
-The Royal Winnipeg Rifle
-The Regina Rifle Regt
-Royal Canadian Engineers


-The Fort Gary Horse => Sherman V DD
-Queens Own rifles of Cda => Infantry
-1st Bn Royal Cdn Eng => engineer


-The North Shore Regiment => Infantry




Finaly let's see our losses, I think there were higher with the landing. Indeed I lost numerous men in lost of landing craft !

The losses are :


-309 men, 4 guns, 3 Vehicles, 11 Navals for me
-163 men, 1 gun for the Axis
