Laying out a new desert scenario I am struck by how similar the British and Italian unit markers appear in 3D mode.
Both appear fairly "mono-chromatic" and grey(ish) even though the Brits have a tastefully subdued rondel of almost colorless color.

One solution occurred to me...could the Italians have a little more mustard hue?
Some yellow would help to make them distinct.
Most of our combatant nations have a "hue" that is theirs and theirs alone.
The Yanks with their Kelly Green, the German feldgrau, etc.

Most of you 2D guys are wondering what I'm rambling about but my inner artistic muse simply cannot appear to shut up... Voodoo Doll
That's me abusing my muse...

And then, continuing to wool gather, contemplate my navel, and scratching itches that can't be scratched, I wondered if anyone ever assaults an undisrupted unit these days?
And I mean EVER.
Instead of drinking the beer Dan keep it in the glass and look through it different yellow colour  ROTFLMAO ROTFLMAO ROTFLMAO
It's probably/maybe just the guys I play...but it almost never gets tried...because it ends in disaster about 99.3% of the time.  While this is time tested, tried and true, it seems like some of the really high assault units (Flammpanzers, US Marines, SMG platoons) should have a good enough assault factor to at least have a chance to carry the day when assaulting an undisrupted unit.  Especially one that has a low assault value of it's own, like a TD or the Brit Carrier sections.

It could also add some variation to the old tarantella of surround, disrupt, assault?

Best regards to my fellow warriors playing the best damn game out there,

Demented Dan
