Hi Sgt_Rock.

Just a quick comment on LOS. You say that "Thus the higher you are the further your ability to observe distances".

I understand what you mean by this but just to clarify, the calculation of distance seen is not a function of height, but relative height. If A can see B, then B can see A, since by definition no obstacle (including the Earth's curvature) is in the way. So any increase in LOS in the game to allow for the Earth's curvature should be based on absolute height differential regardless of whether the observer is higher or lower. I believe this is what you are suggesting but the emphasis on being higher was slightly confusing (for me, at least).
