My initial problem with the demo was the 3D hand drawn map and the big 3D units which I didn't like,the map I found hard to visualize contours/elevations on and the unit graphics although nice were out of scale,now with this mod the 3D units and terrain all work well and I really like it.

For me it is the other way round. I really dislike the tiny 3D units which look like a mess of pixels and do not inspire with nice napoleonic era uniforms. The bigger 3D units can do that for me.
