Defense values in woods, etc. WDS Napoleonics

Hello,

Just a quick question.  The rules really don't specify.  If you are in woods, or a chateau, etc, and the defense value is whatever, such as 30% in the woods,

does this apply to both fire and melee, or just fire?

It does always apply to fire. For melee you have to set the option 'Melee Terrain Modifiers'.
