War and Peace Computer Version 8/23/23 on Steam

Not sure if anyone else has been following this, but the computer version of War and Peace, the descendant of the Avalon Hill original, is being released on Steam on August 24, 2023.  See:

It will have full MP for the campaign and scenarios (and you can of course play all sides solo), but they don't have an AI opponent capability as of yet except for one small 1v1 scenario.  They are working on AI for the rest, but this is a small development team, and the project came about after a Kickstarter.

I believe the campaign (1805-1815) will be playable 1 v 1, with one player taking Britain and the other France and the diplomacy system handles who is part of an alliance.  I am not sure they have it set up for more players.  But it looks very nice visually, and the game system is simple and fun.  While I imagine there will be some bug squashing, looks like great fun for two committed players.
