Your description of play as a social experience is precisely what we are looking for....not PBEM.

I am afraid that server never got used very much and i retired it quite some time ago, I can recommend the "Hex" Discord server it has a section for WDS games which is quite active and, from time to time you will also often catch some members of the WDS development team hanging out there, myself included  Smile
