HPS' Vengeance!

My understanding is that this game was once called Medieval 1 and 2 and repackaged as Vengeance.
It comes with two booklets that explain hit points and whatnot, but there is no Manual. Sometimes, the counters get what squares on 'em and then at other moments they get green and red diamonds. Sometimes, my knight, fully healthy, will just stand at the line of battle and cut his fingernails or scroll on his phone 'cause he won't do ANYTHING.

Does anyone have any tips? I'll put it this way: The game looks good but so rushed, there is not one single hot key. Not... one. You can't even Ctrl+S a game.

But there is LOADS here with tons of depth in which what weapon can do what. I just wish someone made a Getting Started scenario and explained what was and what isn't happening.

The more i play and the more i think i get it, the more i understand that i don't understand crap about this game.
