A commitment is fine and I applaud the idea of stating such up front, but people do have lives and not being able to go on a vacation with your family for 12 months, or a weekend away with your spouse, or attend a wedding or birth of a grandchild (all of which will be happening for me in 2025), make participation unrealistic.  I was hoping that, being a fast player myself, I could finish fast and/or start late, and still be able to complete rounds, but with 2 days per turn and 2 days between rounds baked in I don't see that as realistic for 12 months. 

If you want to keep the scenarios and the rounds as is, don't get hung up on being done in 2025, take what it takes, 14 or 15 months is not much different than 12.

Hoping to continue but respect the right to run your Tourney your way.
