RE: 1914 Valour - FWWC Tournament Round 1 VERSION 2.0
I immediately exited 2 brigades and used the remaining reserve forces to plug the gaps in the north near Aarschot. It was definitely critical to exit at least some units because they swing the points back in your favor for all the inevitable losses in the east. I think I definitely had a minor victory (or more) in hand if I had managed to hold Aarschot itself and also began to strip the southern line of excess men to send to the exit on turn one. Losing Aarschot flipped the points to a minor victory for the Germans, and I had a string of 1000 strength BNs 2-3 turns away from the exit. Those would have given me massive points and flipped it back if I had only retreated them sooner.
