Some of you guys like playing around with the rules. Others of us are happy when we can remember the effects of the rules we regularly use. For the benefit of all, I encourage you stick as close to the KISS method as possible. Not all of us like playing around with different rules even in this hobby. Chess and Go have done pretty well over the years.

The Round 1 scenario is a Volcano Man ALT scenario, and as such requires specific Recommended Rules.

I have updated the Round 1 thread with the Recommended Rules and going forward I will include the Recommended Rules in the first post of every round.
