Just curious and not for nothing, but what does this forum have to do with playing the game? I've played for years and wasn't even a member of the Blitz community until recently.

I would ask all who are leaving. Is it the game? Or is it the boards?

I took a break from the boards from from August to November 08.

I never took a break from the game.

If you are having fun with your opponents continue to play them.

The boards have no impact on that.

If the boards get to be too much then walk away from them.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

From my experience it is possible to enjoy the game without enjoying the boards.

I think it's the boards. While I still play, I have much less motivation anymore to do (read design) for this community. In the old days this forum was a place where you could get motivation and good ideas from.
The last 6 months or so this board is dominated completely by a Troll.

I read the forum and just laugh at what I see sometimes!
But I joined the Blitz to play the game against some very fine people.
So guys just take a break and come back!
I'm a middle aged guy and one thing I have learned..Some people will argue with a fence post!::cool:

Glint announces that he leaves the forum and you take the opportunity to give him a couple of kicks in the back on the way out. That's really low.

"Kick in the back" or point out the absurdity of his reasons to stop playing? "Oooh, Ed types words so I'm going to stop playing." That's a good reason?
You seem another in a short line that do not "get it".
I also do not recall your input in any of the recent discussions. But, you pull out the key board to take a shot at me. Board "Troll". Pot and kettle more like it? LOL!

Bring something constructive to the table? Or are you leaving next?
