RE: Delays - father dying
GOOD NEWS... the hard nosed SOB came through the surgery on Tuesday well, is giving the staff hell, and, while not out of the woods yet by any means for respiratory reasons, is coming along far better than expected. I am cautiously optimistic. After surviving a plane crash and consequent broken back at Fort Benning years ago, and open heart surgery more recently, he has always healed well. I hope that luck continues.
Thank you all for your regards - my apologies to the opponents whose games I have, and continue, to dislocate.

To my brothers overseas - think of you often actually; should be there with you. Stay safe, come home soon.
If you run, you'll only die tired.
